On the occasion of ‘Aranya Saptah’ (14th – 20th July), “Briksha Ropan Utsav”(Plantation Festival) was organized at Ramakrishna Math, Barisha on 17 and 18 July 2023. The centre received 80 saplings mostly of Neem and Mahogany from the West Bengal Government through Dibakar Memorial Explorer Association and a few from well-wishers (a total of about 100) saplings. The programme started with chanting the pranam mantras of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Sri Maa and Swamiji. Some of these were planted by our monks (6 nos), inmates (15 females and 10 males), workers and some local residents (A total of about 50 persons).
