Ramakrishna Math, Madurai celebrated Azadi Ka Amirt Mahotsav, 75th Independence Day of India dedicated to Swami Vivekananda.
In commemoration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav closing celebration, Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, conducted various competitions to the students of 1st standard to 12th standard during the last week of July and first week of August. 319 students from 14 schools participated in these competitions. On 15th August 2022, Independence Day was celebrated in the ashrama with National Flag hoisting and cultural events by students. Adhyaksha Swami Kamalatmananda presided over the function, delivered a benedictory address and distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions. Lions Club Vivekam Madurai, gifted pen set to all the students. 332 parents, admirers and 367 students participated in it.
