On Tuesday, 10 June 2025, the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol, organized a seminar on mental well-being for Civic Volunteers at its ITI premises, following a request from the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic). The event was conducted in collaboration with the Asansol-Durgapur Police Commissionerate.
The programme was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including:
- Sri V.G. Satish Pasumarthi (IPS), Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic)
- Sri Sourav Chaudhuri, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic-1), Asansol
- Sri Biswajit Saha, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Asansol
The speakers emphasized the critical importance of mental and emotional well-being among Civic Volunteers, recognizing their pivotal role in managing urban traffic systems. Discussions focused on stress management, mental resilience, and holistic well-being strategies.
Approximately 150 Civic Volunteers attended the seminar, and light refreshments were served to all participants.
