Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri in commemoration of 125th Anniversary of Chicago Addresses and Annual Celebration-2019, conducted a series of programmes on 19,20 and 28 April, 5 May 2019.
Senior Citizens’ Convention
The Convention started at 4.30 pm where 478 participated. Vedic Chanting, reading from the books on Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita, lectures, guided meditation, devotional songs, interactive session etc. were the components of the convention.
Revered Swami Suhitanandaji, Vice President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, gave benedictory address.
Swami Divyanandaji delivered a talk on How to attain peace and Dr. Uday Choudhury, the renowned Psychologist delivered a talk and gave power point presentation before the Audience on Mental and Physical Health being the problems of ageing and the matters relating to overcoming them.
Swami Chandrakantanandaji read out from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna . Swami Haricharanananda performed devotional songs.
