On the occasion of Gangasagar Mela (Holy Bath at Gangasagar on 14 January 2019 Makar Sankranti Day) Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Mansadwip organized a residential camp in its Gangasagar Sub center in the Mela area from 11 to 16 January 2019. In all 606 pilgrims (including a few monks from different organizations) from different parts of the country were provided free food and lodging. Free meals were also served to about 3000 non-resident pilgrims from 13 January to 15 January. Daily Puja, Evening Aratrika in the Shrine were performed. Evening discourses, devotional songs were performed and a film show was also shown in our camp. 100 volunteer served the pilgrims.
