On 23rd January 2025, the Office of the Principal CCIT, West Bengal & Sikkim region of the Income Tax Department, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India, organized a special “Shramdaan Activity and Plantation” drive at Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan, Kolkata.
The activity involved active participation from both staff members of the Income Tax Department and the Pratishthan. The Shramdaan activity was followed by a walk around the campus to promote the Swachh Bharat Mission and other relevant activities.
As a token of appreciation, the Income Tax Department generously gifted the Pratishthan with cleaning essentials, sanitation items, and toys for the patients of the Paediatric Department. A symbolic plantation of a tree was also carried out during the occasion.
This collaborative effort between the Income Tax Department and Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan exemplifies a spirit of community service and highlights the importance of environmental conservation and social responsibility.
