As part of Green Energy Initiative, a Solar Power Plant has been installed by Chennai Math at Vivekananda Cultural Centre with the sponsorship of M/s. Sundaram Finance Ltd., and their group of Companies. The Plant was inaugurated on 1 September 2017. This will help in saving 50% to 60% of Electricity Charges. Dr. M. Saikumar, I.A.S., Chairman cum Managing Director, Tamilnadu Electricity Board inaugurated the Plant. Revered Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj delivered the Benedictory Address.
