On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the return of Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur conducted a workshop to enhance the skills and commitments of primary school teachers as a part of year-long services.
In the programme, the teachers spoke about the difficulties and opportunities in today’s environment. Ulundurpet Sri Sarada Ashram Yadishwari Atma Vikasa Priyamba explained how teachers are unique. Swami Vimurtananda spoke on the responsibility and excellence of teachers in the light of Swami Vivekananda.
About 150 primary school teachers from 47 schools in Ulundurpet area attended the event. Everyone was given Swami Vivekananda’s books.
