Spiritual Retreat: Dublin, Ireland, August 2024

Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre (Éire Vedanta Society nee) in Dublin, Ireland hosted a spiritual retreat featuring Revered Swami Suhitananda ji Maharaj, Vice President of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, India.

Revered Maharaj arrived in Dublin on August 22nd, where he conducted a special Satsang that evening. During the Satsang, he delivered an inspiring talk titled “Moulding Life: Insights from Sri Ramakrishna’s Teachings.” Approximately 60 devotees attended this spiritually uplifting event.

On August 23rd, His Excellency Sri Akhilesh Mishra, the Indian Ambassador to Ireland, hosted a high tea in honor of Revered Maharaj at the Indian Embassy.

On August 24th, Revered Maharaj delivered another insightful talk on “Spiritualizing Everyday Life” at the Vivekananda Vedanta Centre in Cork, in collaboration with the Hindu Temple in Cork. The program included Ramnam Sankirtan and a discourse, with 45 devotees in attendance.

Sunday, August 25th, marked a particularly blessed day as 20 seekers received Mantradiksha from Revered Maharaj.

That evening, the retreat featured a rich spiritual program, including Rudram chanting by Swami Sevatmananda, Carnatic devotional bhajans by Krish, and Namavali bhajans by Peter and his group. Swami Chandrakantananda ji gave an enlightening talk on “What is Spirituality?” followed by an address from Revered Maharaj on “Walking with the Divine: How to Spiritualize Our Everyday Life.”

The program concluded with Arati and Prasad distribution. The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including a Councillor, the President of VHCCI, and other esteemed guests.
