Swami Bhuvanatmananda emphasized the importance of spiritual disciplines like renunciation, truthfulness, and innocence. He explained how these virtues are essential tools to overcome the mind’s limitations and attain spiritual liberation.
Swami Kritanjananda shed light on the life and teachings of Holy Mother Sarada Devi, highlighting her embodiment of purity, austerity, and divine love. He explored the profound meaning of the song “Prakritim Paramam…” composed by Swami Abhedananda, encouraging devotees to cultivate these virtues.
Swami Brahmaparananda underscored the significance of truthfulness in spiritual practice. He explained how honesty is the foundation of a virtuous life and spiritual progress.
The retreat culminated in a guided meditation, where devotees focused on the divine attribute of truth. The day concluded with the collective chanting of Sri Ramakrishna Ashtotharasatanamavali and the soulful bhajan “Ramakrishna Saranam.” A delicious prasadam was offered to all attendees.
