Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy, hosted a Spiritual Retreat for devotees at the Ashrama on Sunday, August 18, 2024. The program commenced with Vedic prayers and an opening song, followed by guided meditations, readings from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, messages from the Holy Mother, and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. An inspiring address by Mr. Kunhiraman deeply moved the attendees. Bhajans were also part of the day’s events.
To honor the selfless service rendered by twelve volunteers in the aftermath of the recent landslide tragedy in Wayanad district, Kerala, the Math felicitated them. Upon learning of the disaster, these individuals promptly responded, participating in rescue efforts and ensuring the dignified cremation of the deceased.
The retreat concluded with the distribution of Prasad to all participants.
