On Sunday, 24th November 2024, Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy, conducted a Nara Narayana Seva (poor feeding) program during the noon session. A delicious lunch prasad, traditionally called Sadhya in Malayalam, was served to a group of Ayyappa Swamis who were preparing for their pilgrimage to Sabarimala. In addition, students of the Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa from the fisherman community of the Arabian Sea and some local underprivileged families were also served the same lunch prasad. In total, lunch prasad was distributed to around 90 people.
In the evening session, a Spiritual Retreat was conducted for the devotees. The retreat commenced with Vedic chanting, followed by readings from the books of the Holy Trio, meditation, bhajans, and a discourse. Swami Bhavapriyananda of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, delivered an insightful talk in Malayalam for the devotees and others present. The retreat concluded with a closing song, and prasad was distributed to approximately 40 people.
