On Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy, organized a serene spiritual retreat. The event commenced at 4:00 PM with Vedic chants and a melodious opening song, setting a peaceful ambiance.
Guided meditations, readings from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, and enlightening talks on Holy Mother Sarada Devi, including Swami Vivekananda’s conversations with his disciple, were conducted by dedicated devotees. To further enhance the spiritual atmosphere, Brahmachari Guneshachaitanya led a soulful bhajan session.
Distinguished speakers from Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Kozhikode – Swami Indunathananda and Swami Avatarananda – graced the occasion. They delivered insightful talks in Malayalam and English, respectively, emphasizing the significance of spiritual retreats for those seeking spiritual enlightenment. Their discourse was rooted in the profound teachings of the Holy Trinity.
The retreat concluded with a soothing closing song, followed by the distribution of tea and snacks prasad to all attendees, providing a nourishing end to a spiritually enriching experience.
