Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Ashrama, Raipur, organised a spiritual retreat on Sunday, 19 November 2023. The programme started by lighting the lamp, Vedic chanting, followed by the recitation of 108 Thakur’s name by the devotees, guided meditation, discourses and bhajans. The retreat started at 10.00 am and ended at 1.00 pm.
Swami Avyayatmananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Raipur, gave the welcome address by narrating the importance of the retreat for the devotees who have taken diksha from Ramakrishna Mission.
Swami Jyotihswarupananda, Editor, Jivan Vikas Patrika, Ramakrishna Math, Nagpur, guided the devotees to meditate. He also delivered a lecture on “शतरूपे माँ सारदा” in Hindi.
Swami Sevavratananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Bilaspur gave a talk on “श्री रामकृष्ण देव की दिव्य लीला”. He narrated some important incidents of Thakurs’ life which was very much inspired by the audience.

A total of 176 devotees attended the function. At the end, the cooked food (Prasad) was given to all of them.
