An Antaryogam (Spiritual Retreat) was conducted at the Ramakrishna Math, Yelagiri Hills from November 22nd to 24th, 2024. The retreat was graced by Swami Atmaghanananda, Ramakrishna Math, Chennai; Swami Lakshmidharananda, Editor of Vedanta Kesari, Chennai; and Swami Bhaktikamananda, Ramakrishna Math, Coimbatore. Along with them, 30 devotees from Chennai, Coimbatore, and Madurai participated in the retreat.
The retreat schedule included morning chanting of Vedic hymns, Vishnu and Lalitha Sahasranamams, and Suprabhatams. Throughout the day, there were insightful discourses by the Swamis, devotional bhajans, and readings from the book Kadavuludan Vaazhnthavargal. Swami Vimokshananda also led reflective discussions on these readings, helping the devotees deepen their understanding.
The serene and secluded atmosphere of the Ashrama provided an ideal setting for the devotees to engage in Japa and meditation. The central theme of the retreat was a candid exploration of the life and teachings of Swami Premananda Ji Maharaj, one of the direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna.
