The following are some of the sports achievements of Vivekananda College students of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Mylapore, Chennai, in the month of August 2023.
- Basketball: Winner in the YMCA BUCK Memorial Inter Collegiate Basketball tournament conducted by YMCA College of Physical Education held from 28 August 2023 to 1 September 2023.
- Ball Badminton: Our College has secured III Place in the Sasidharan Nair & Mohanakumari Memorial All India Inter Collegiate Ball Badminton tournament conducted by Darsana Institute of Technology Nedumangad, Kerala, held from 25 August 2023 to 27 August 2023.
- Chess: M.Sri Ganesh (III B. Com) has secured Second Place in the 89th Bertram Memorial Chess tournament conducted by Loyola College held from 25th August 2023 to 26th August 2023

- B. Sai Sudarsan of IInd Year M. A (Economics) selected for Surrey Team in the England County Cricket League Championship 2023-2024
- A.B. Dhiyash of IInd Year B.Com and Shrenik. S of Ist Year B.Com were selected for the Tamilnadu Under-19 Category Cricket team in the All India Interstate Cricket Tournament 2023-2024.
- A. Badrinath of IInd Year B.Com and Nidhish Rajagopal of IInd Year M. A (Economics) selected in the Buchi Babu All India Interstate Cricket Tournament 2023-2024.
- Silambam: P. Vignesh of III B.Sc(Maths) has been awarded with Veerakalai Veethagar by Yuthakalai Silambam Association (Affiliated by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Govt of India) at The Krisar Academy School. Ranipet on 27 August 2023.
