Ramakrishna Mission, Davanagere held a summer camp for students. The week-long program from April 28th to May 5th, 2024. Total 54 enthusiastic students participated from grades 5 to 8.
Highlights of the Camp:
- Guest Speakers: Renowned dignitaries, well-versed in resource management, were invited to speak to the students. Their talks aimed at equipping the young minds with valuable skills for building a bright future.
- Diverse Learning: The camp offered a well-rounded curriculum, encompassing Vedic chanting, bhajans, moral lessons, innovation and technology workshops, waste management education, and environmental science exploration. Classes in arts and crafts further enriched the experience.
- Volunteer Support: Dedicated volunteers from the ashrama played a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the camp.
- Closing Ceremony: The dignitaries were impressed by the students’ talents showcased during the closing program. To celebrate their achievements, gifts were distributed among the participants.
- Refreshments: Nutritious and delicious snacks were provided to the students throughout the camp.
