Summer Camp : Kalady, April 2024


Sri Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady, conducted a summer camp for school-going students from 8 to 10 April 2024. The camp aimed to provide an enriching experience through educational activities centred on Panchatantram stories, fostering a joyful and fun-filled atmosphere for all participants. A total of 75 enthusiastic students actively participated in the camp, bringing a diverse range of backgrounds and interests.The core focus of the camp revolved around the exploration of Panchatantram stories, integrating valuable life lessons through interactive activities. Students were encouraged to engage with the stories in a dynamic manner, promoting both learning and enjoyment.

The camp was inaugurated by Swami Srividyananda, Adhyaksha of the ashram. In his inaugural address, Adhyaksha Maharaj emphasized the importance of instilling fundamental values such as truthfulness, honesty, compassion, and a spirit of helpfulness among the students. He articulated a vision for the students to embody these virtues, thereby contributing positively to society and becoming exemplary citizens of the nation.

Swami Nandatmanandaand Swami Brahmaparananda and Sri K.C.Mohanan were resource persons for the camp. Throughout the duration of the camp, students actively participated in a series of engaging activities designed to enhance their understanding of the Panchatantram stories while imbuing them with important moral principles. These activities were carefully crafted to promote teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking among the participants.
