Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Porbandar hosted a successful summer camp from May 3rd to May 30th, 2024. With over 200 children registered, the daily sessions averaged 140 enthusiastic participants. Held from 8:30 to 11:30 am, the camp offered a rich curriculum that included Vedic hymns, Bhagavad Gita chanting, devotional singing, patriotic songs, arts and crafts, dance, drama, and both indoor and outdoor games.
The camp culminated in a farewell ceremony on May 30th, where students presented inspiring plays depicting various events from Swami Vivekananda’s life. Dr. Chetnaben Tiwary, the esteemed President of Porbandar Nagar Seva Sadan, graced the occasion as the chief guest and offered words of encouragement to the young participants. The event drew a large audience. To commemorate their participation, all the children received special prizes.
