Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram, organized a summer camp titled ‘SHRADDHA – 2025’ from April 24 to May 18, 2025, for school students. A total of 190 children enthusiastically participated in this enriching camp.
The camp offered a blend of spiritual, cultural, and creative activities aimed at holistic development. The children were trained in:
- Yoga asanas
- Vedic chanting
- Guided meditation
- Bhajans
- Bhagavad Gita recitation
- Drawing and crafts
- Traditional Indian games
- Moral education through stories
- Recitation of quotes by Swami Vivekananda
A Vidyarthi Homa ceremony was conducted on May 3, 2025, invoking divine blessings for the students’ spiritual and academic progress.
Daily breakfast was served to all students throughout the duration of the camp, ensuring their nourishment and comfort.
The camp concluded on May 18, with a vibrant cultural programme presented by the students, showcasing what they had learned. The event was attended by approximately 180 parents, who appreciated the children’s talents and transformation.
Participation certificates and books were distributed to all students and volunteers as a token of encouragement. Cooked prasad was served to all attendees on the final day, marking the joyful conclusion of the camp.
Such initiatives reflect the Mission’s ongoing commitment to instilling values, discipline, and devotion in young minds, inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
