Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda’s Ancestral House and Cultural Centre, Kolkata distributed 984 number of kits containing Lassi, Mineral Water, ORS and Lozenges among Traffic Police, Rickshaw van pullers, Wheelbarrow pullers, Auto drivers, Taxi drivers, Bus drivers and Bus Conductors in Kolkata from 19 th April to 29 th April 2024 on the occasion of gruelling summer.
26 April 2024 : In a gesture of support for those battling the scorching summer, Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda’s Ancestral House and Cultural Centre in Kolkata distributed relief kits on April 26th, 2024. These kits, containing essential supplies like mineral water, ORS solution, lassi (a refreshing yogurt drink), and lozenges, were aimed at helping bus drivers, conductors, taxi drivers, rickshaw pullers, and van drivers stay hydrated and cool while working outdoors during the heatwave.
