In continuation of ‘Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana’ campaign for 40 weeks, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru conducted cleaning and awareness drives on 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd April, 2017 in which about 1200 volunteers participated. The cleaning drives were held in 4 different wards of Mysuru, namely, Ghousiya Nagar, Shaktinagar, K.N. Pura and Siddhartha Nagar.
As a follow up action, the ashrama also taken up two wards, namely, Manjunathpura and K.N.Pura to make them Cleanest Model Wards with the help of the local Municipal Corporater. This includes thorough cleaning of the area and awareness programmes for the local people.
