In continuation of ‘Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana’ campaign, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru conducted cleaning and awareness drives in September, October, November and December, 2017 in which about 2800 volunteers participated including students.
Sri Ramesh C Jigajinagi, Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation, Government of India, had been invited as the Chief Guest to take part in the 36th week awareness campaign on 5 November 2017.
Awareness drives were held in 44 different parts of Mysuru.
