Swami Vivekananda Football Cup, a district level football tournament was organised by the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jhargram from 18 December 2021 to 19 February 2022. The tournament was inaugurated by Swami Divyananda, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Cossipore, on Saturday 18 December 2021 at the Pukuria football ground, Jhargram. A total of 64 matches was organised at 20 different venues involving 64 teams from 8 zones of the Jhargram district, namely Jhargram, Jamboni, Binpur I & II, Gopi I & II, Sankrail and Nayagram.
The final was held on Saturday 19 February 2022 at the Jhargram stadium. Swami Jnanalokananda, Secretary, Swami Vivekananda’s Ancestral House, Kolkata, was the Chief Guest and Smt. Joyshree Dasgupta, District Magistrate, Jhargram and Sri Krishnendu Roy, distinguished footballer were the Guest of Honour in the finals.
Zeeyan Marshal Rising Club, Gopiballavpur emerged as the champions and Lalgarh Football Academy were the runners up.
