Our Visakhapatnam centre organized 6 months Tailoring Training Programmes for tribal women in two villages (Galipadu and Kunchi Mandala) of Viskhapatnam district. It was concluded on 31 July 2017. Total 42 tribal women was trained, and all the trainees were provided with tailoring machines. They had also got a monthly stipend of Rs. 1000/- per month. The training was very useful for these women and now they are stitching clothes and making garments for the people of nearby villages and thus earning a livelihood.
Due to demands in these kind of vocational training programmes, our Visakhapatnam centre will continue to train youths and women of interior villages of Visakhapatnam district.
