Three-Day Annual Function : Morabadi, Ranchi, May 2024


Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Morabadi celebrated a Three-Day Annual Function of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute from 18 May 2024 to 20 May 2024.

The president of the program was Swami Achyuteshananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar; the chief guest was Shri Gopalji TiwariJoint Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation for the Jharkhand Govt., and the special guest was Shri Shailendra Singh, Chetana Mahavidyalaya and Chetana Aawasiya Sansthan, Govindpur, Dhanbad.

The welcome speech of this program was given by Swami Antarananda. Special guest Shri Shailendra Singh urged the students to identify their potential and devote their energy to social development and national development. Only our strength can build the India of Swami Vivekananda’s dream. The youth should be inspired by his ideas.

The chief guest of the program, Shri Gopalji Tiwari Ji, praised the cultural program presented by the students and urged the students to be aware of the activities happening in our society and the world. Referring to the relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s ideas, he said that there is a need for a revolution in agriculture and development in rural areas, which our students can do. It is necessary to have harmony between technical education and spirituality in our education. The youth will have to assimilate these ideas.

Swami Bhaveshananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Ranchi, shared the activities going on in the university and appreciated the contribution of our institute’s students to social development. The goal of the institution is character building. Through education, all-round development of the students is necessary. We need school education, vocational education and moral education so that the students can develop.

The president of the program, Swami Achyuteshananda ji,  said that the Pandavas had turned Khandavaprastha into Indraprastha (made a prosperous city out of a barren land), similarly our students should also become a part of the country’s progress and build the India of Swami Vivekananda’s dreams.

In the afternoon session of the program, guidance was given to NSS students on the topic of Swami Vivekananda’s views on India’s renaissance.

In the program, students presented cultural programs on the contribution of the Indian Army and the subject of women’s exploitation. Annual awards were also distributed.
