A powerful tornado tore through Tongaat, a town on South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal North Coast, in early June 2024. The disaster resulted in widespread destruction of homes, schools, and essential infrastructure, claiming lives and leaving countless families homeless.
In response to the crisis, Ramakrishna Centre South Africa quickly mobilized relief efforts, providing essential supplies to 80 affected families. To address the immediate healthcare needs of the community, the Ramakrishna Clinic of South Africa- Durban organized a medical outreach program on June 30, 2024.
