Values Education Program for Little Scholars Higher Secondary School
To commemorate the anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago address on September 11, Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, organized a three-day character and cultural training program for the students of Little Scholars Higher Secondary School. The program focused on cultivating physical, mental, and intellectual strength in the young learners, aiming to foster well-rounded individuals.
A total of 200 students participated in the program. As a token of appreciation, each student received a laminated picture of Swami Vivekananda and a book containing his inspiring teachings.
Sports Day for Government Higher Secondary School for Hearing Impaired
On the same day, Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, hosted a sports day event for the students of the Government Higher Secondary School for the Hearing Impaired in Thanjavur. The event was a celebration of Swami Vivekananda’s legacy and a testament to the Math’s commitment to serving the community.
Students from all grades, 1st to 12th, participated in a variety of sports competitions, including long jump, volleyball, and more. The Math organized the event and awarded prizes to all the winners, recognizing their achievements and encouraging their participation in sports.
