Ramakrishna Math, Bagda organized a Values Education Programme on 04 January 2020. A total of 329 which included 218 students and 63 teachers from 24 schools under 4 different Blocks of Purulia District attended the programme.
The participation of the children of our Gadadhar Sishu Vikash Kendra gave the programme a special dimension. The spontaneous involvement of the participating schools in the cultural part made the programme most colourful and attractive. The students also took part in short speeches on different topics.
Swami Niyatatmananda delivered his welcome address. Swami Bhaktiprabhananda, Youth coordinator, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Purulia presided over the function. Sri Manoj Kumar Mukherjee, President, Manbazar Girls’ High School, Purulia was the chief guest and Sri Subhasis Chakraborty, Teacher-in-Charge, Jabarrah High School, Purulia was special guest & keynote speaker.
Three Special Awards Vivek Shakti Award, Snehamoyee Sarada Award & Pradipta Nivedita Award were given to Goalagara Path Mandir, Jabarrah High School & Kumari High School respectively for their significant role in value education.
