Ramakrishna Mission Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri conducted a values education programme in Zilla parishad high school in Bommalaramaram town (6km away) on 14 February 2023.
Swami Niragananda and the Volunteers of our Ashrama conducted the program. Swami Niragananda extolled the importance of character in building one’s personality. Sri Chandra Reddy spoke on the importance of correct understanding and good hard work in attaining success. Sri Bhasker Rao inspired the students with anecdotes from Swami Vivekananda’s life. The program was attended by 120 students & teachers of Zilla parishad high school.
The centre conducted a values education programme in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya (Govt. high school), Bommalaramaram, on 13 February 2023. Swami Niragananda and the Volunteers of our Ashrama conducted the program. Swami Niragananda addressed the students on Indian heritage. Sri Bhasker Rao talked about the contribution of Swami Vivekananda in building the National consciousness of the Indian masses. Sri Raman Reddy spoke on the Indian freedom movement and its importance to present-day India. The program was attended by 150 students & 16 teachers of Kasturba Gandhi high school.
The centre conducted the 1st of a series of programs for High school students. The program was conducted in Srimat Swami Ranganathanandaji Maharaj Memorial Auditorium on the Mission premises. A total of 115 students and 10 Teachers of Mathrushree high school, Arragunta, Ramalingampally, Bommalaramaram (located 6km away) attended the program.
The program started with a prayer by the school children. Sri Chandra Reddy introduced the children to the message of Swami Vivekananda, Sri Ramakrishna & Sri Sarada devi as well as to the activities of the Ramakrishna Mission. Swami Jnanadananda ji was the main speaker who interacted with the students and taught them many techniques to build their character, mental strength and concentration. Sri Krishna Reddy gave the students many examples from his own student life on achieving success in Academic life.
The session concluded with a few cultural programs from the students.
