Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar conducted a winter relief program on February 7, 2025, in the remote village of Chongkhaw, located at the Indo-Myanmar border under the Wakka Circle of Longding district. A dedicated team comprising two monastic members, one teacher, and four students undertook a strenuous five-hour journey through the rugged Patkai ranges to reach the village, where they distributed 150 blankets to the local residents.
Continuing the relief efforts on February 8, 2025, the Mission extended support to the people of Narottam Nagar and Namsangmukh villages, under the Deomali Circle of Arunachal Pradesh, to help them cope with the severe winter conditions. Swami Achyuteshananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar, along with other monks, distributed 156 blankets to the needy as part of the institution’s winter relief program.
