Ramakrishna Mission, Kalyani organized a biweekly ‘Matri Puja’ on the third Sunday of every month, providing relief items to approximately 140 impoverished mothers. On September 15, 2024, the program commenced with Vedic chanting. Puja items included rice, lentils, potatoes, semolina, puffed rice, sugar, and turmeric.
Thirty students from JIS Polytechnic College, Kalyani, who were participating in the five-day workshop “Amar Bharat Amor Bharat” held from September 14-18, actively took part in the Matri Puja with great devotion.
