On the 25th and 27th of January 2023, a two-day workshop on Life Skills and Value Education was conducted for 2nd year B.Ed. teachers from Lady Willingdon Institute of Advanced Studies, Triplicane. Swami Raghunayakananda inaugurated the workshop in the Vivekananda Cultural Centre with floral tributes to the portraits of the Holy Trio of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda. 200 teachers participated in the programme workshop.
On Day-1 (Wed, 25 Jan 2023) volunteer Smt. Varsha ji, led a transformational session in her usual practical way with props.
In the following session on Day-1, Smt. Aruna Shyamsunder, guided everyone in her Yoga-Meditation class to explore hidden dimensions.
Sri Sambandan ji, Resource Person, handled the Day-2 (Fri, 27 Jan 2023) session eruditely with positive affirmations and easily implementable practical lessons on self-discipline.
Swami Raghunayakananda led the guided meditation session for the participants.
All participants were then taken on a guided tour of the “Experience Vivekananda” Museum, which culminated in “Silent Meditation” in the room where Swami Vivekananda had stayed for nine days from 6th to 15th of February, in 1897.
