On the occasion of the World Environment Day on 5th June, 2017, Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar, Arunachal Pradesh, organized Vanamahotsav in collaboration with the Forest Department by planting 260 saplings of various species (i.e. Betel nut – 100 Nos., Ahoka – 10 Nos., Sandalwood – 30 Nos., Hilica – 40 Nos., Bahera – 40 Nos., Nahar – 20 Nos. & Holong – 20 Nos. ) in the Ashrama campus.
