On February 25, 2025, Ramakrishna Math, Barisha, successfully organized a Youth Convention that resonated deeply with the participating students and teachers. The convention, held from 9:00 AM to 1:50 PM, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 300 students and their educators.
The program was designed to inspire and educate the youth on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Students actively engaged in a variety of enriching activities, demonstrating their talents and understanding through:
- Musical Performances: Melodious musical presentations that created an uplifting atmosphere.
- Poetry Recitations: Heartfelt recitations of poems that reflected the spirit of Swami Vivekananda’s ideals.
- Extempore Speeches: Impromptu speeches that showcased the students’ knowledge and insights into Swami Vivekananda’s life and philosophy, and its impact on their own lives.
The convention provided a platform for students to express their reflections on the profound influence of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings, fostering a deeper connection with his message.
Breakfast and lunch prasad were served to the delegates. Each delegate received a book on Swami Vivekananda, allowing them to further explore Swamiji’s teachings.
