Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Contai, organized a Youth Convention on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago Address. The event was held at Contai Town Hall and attracted over 500 students and teachers from various schools and colleges in Contai and surrounding areas.
The program began with Vedic chanting, a welcome address, the recitation of the Swadesh Mantra, Swamiji’s songs, and drama and group songs performed by the participants. Swami Mayadhishananda, the chief guest Swami Tattwasarananda, and other dignitaries addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of the Chicago Address and its impact on the Indian people.
All participants received a tiffin packet and a book titled “Bharater Punargathan – ভারতের পুনর্গঠন”.
