On 28 December 2025, the Vivekananda Yearly Youth District Convention was organised by the North 24 Parganas–1 Ramakrishna Vivekananda Bhava Prachar Yuva Parishad at Nazrul Mancha, under Kamarhati Municipality.
The programme featured Vedic chanting, devotional songs, speeches, and recitations presented by youth delegates, all centred on the inspiring ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
Monks—Swami Balabhadrananda, Swami Durgatmananda, Swami Tattwasarananda, Swami Krishnanathanandaji Maharaj, and Rev. Swami Ishavratanandaji Maharaj—delivered illuminating discourses.
Rev. Swami Atmanathanandaji Maharaj hosted the convention, while Swami Ramapriyanandaji and Swami Udaranandaji were also present.
From the organising committee, Sri Prasanta Choudhury (Vice President) and Sri Prasannadip Saha (Convenor) of the Yuva Parishad attended the event.
As part of the programme, three meritorious students who also serve as Ashrama volunteers were felicitated, along with Sri Manas Kumar Ghosh of Singur for his contributions to educational activities.
A total of 625 youth delegates participated in the convention. In all, 800 participants were served breakfast, lunch, and packaged drinking water.
