Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Ashrama, Raipur organised a Youth Convention on Swami Vivekananda as a final phase of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, on 06 January 2023. Swami Prapattyananda rendered the welcome address and spoke about the importance of the function. Dr. Omprakash Verma (Secretary, Vivekananda Vidyapith, Kota, Raipur) delivered a speech on Swami Vivekananda’s ‘Renaissance of India’. He spoke on self-development narrating the life of Swami Vivekananda and his preaching. Shri B.L. Sonekar (Professor, Pt. Ravishankar University, Raipur) spoke on how to develop character in a student’s life to achieve success. Swami Prapattyananda told the audience how to overcome bad habits in learning life.
The president of the meeting Swami Avyayatmananda ji addressed the audience and asked everyone to read the life of Swami Vivekananda and his Guru Sri Ramakrishna Dev to get peace, courage and success in life. 175 students and 10 teachers from four different schools in Raipur attended the function. The participants were given one folder, 4 different titles of Swamiji’s books, a writing pad, a pen and a certificate.
