As a part of the 125th anniversary celebration of Ramakrishna Mission, a Youth Convention was organised by Ramakrishna Math, Rajkot, on the theme – Vivekananda Answers, on 23 July 2023. Around 450 youth participated.
The programme was inaugurated by Shri Pradipbhai Dav, Hon’ble Mayor of Rajkot and Shri Rameshbhai Tilala, MLA, Rajkot (South). They spoke on character building and nation building in their addresses. Padmashree Dr. Arunima Sinha, the First Female Amputee to Climb Mount Everest; Shri Sharad Sagar, Founder CEO, Dexterity Global, Patna; Dr. Jayesh Shah, Youth Counsellor, Vadodara; Swami Vedanishthananda, Spiritual Director (Designate), Vedanta Society, Geneva, Switzerland; Swami Nirvikalpananda, Secretary (Designate), Ramakrishna Mission, Jabalpur and Ms. Saachi Soni, the youngest Indian to scale the ten highest peaks of Australia delivered inspiring speeches and encouraged the youth to read the books of Swami Vivekananda. The question-answer session was very interesting and useful. Inspiring videos were shown and the chorus song was enthusiastically sung by the youth. All the participants were given a set of books of Swami Vivekananda.
