Youth Convention : Varanasi, September 2023 (Video)

Under the joint auspices of Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Varanasi and Ramakrishna Mission Home of Service, Varanasi, a youth conference was organised on 27 August 2023, to celebrate the 125 years of the foundation of  the Ramakrishna Mission.

70 youths from the different educational institutions of Varanasi including BHU and MGKV had participated.

The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp with the Vedic invocation.

Swami Rajendrananda gave the welcome speech. 

Swami Vishwatmananda, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Varanasi, delivered the keynote address. Recalling Swami Vivekananda’s great inspiration behind the revolutionaries like Shubhash Chandra Bose to the contemporary leaders like Narendra Modi, he said that the service rendered by Ramakrishna Mission to the nation in the last 125 years is incomparable. 

Eminent speaker from Prayagraj and UPSC motivator, Sri Raviraj Singh said that our youth is always get inspiration from the words of Swami Vivekananda, and they would lead India to win the world again and become the Vishwa Guru, with love and with the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. 

After a short refreshment, the next session commenced with a short audio-visual presentation by Vivek Sanjivani, an educational and health initiatives of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Varanasi.

Underlining the sources of building a successful life, Swami Dayapurnananda said that a person should have a goal, an ideal and should get rid of negativity at any cost.

Mahimna Dave, Rudrakant Mishra, Atul Kumar and Ankit Kumar were among the youth speakers from the Vivekananda Study Circle. 

In the Question-Answer Session, many questions were asked by the youth, which were resolved by Swami Bhedatitananda, Swami Vishwatmananda, Swami Dayapurnananda and Sri Raviraj Singh ji.

Swami Dharanidharananda while proposing the vote of thanks said that the aim of the camp and the study circle is to inculcate the bhava of Shiva Gyan se Jiva Seva.

The programme was well conducted by Sri Utkarsh Chaubey. There was also a screening of two short films on Swami Vivekananda. Programme concluded in the late noon with the lunch and distribution of certificates to the participants.

Swami Devadhipananda, Ishaan Chaubey, Kartik Jha, Ardhendu Banerjee, Ananda Yadav among others made valuable contributions in making the programme successful.
