Ramakrishna Math, Ghatshila successfully conducted Youth Conventions to celebrate Second Phase of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” (75 years of Indian Independence) dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, on 7 August 2022 at ashrama premises, and on 13 August 2022 at Jagadish Chandra High School, Ghatshila.
On 7th August the programme started from 9.00 A.M and continued to 11 A.M. with 150 youths participating from about 3 different Schools of Ghatsila areas. The programme was organized at (Ramakrishna Math, Ghatsila) Ashrama premises.
Swami Natarajananda, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Ghatshila was the President of the Function, Sri Achintya Kumar Rath (Respected Retd. Teacher) was the Special Guest and Smt. Chaitali Nath (Retd. Head Mistress of Jagadish Chandra High School, Ghatshila) was the Chief Guest.
The program started with offering flowers at the feet of Swami Vivekananda’s portrait followed by Vedic chanting by the Students. The guests were then welcomed by Ashrama Adhyaksha Maharaj and Flower bouquets presented by the Students.
The participating students started their performance which included inspiring speech, singing of group patriotic songs. The “Swadesh Mantra” of Swami Vivekananda was chanted by all the students. The Chief Guest Smt. Chaitali Nath delivered her speech with inspiring and motivational talk. Swami Natarajanandajji honoured the chief guest and special guest by giving memento.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem. At the end a Special Tiffin Packet and a gift packet (Books on Swami Vivekananda, Drawing Notebook, Picture drawing book, Coloring sketch pen and two pencils) were distributed among all the students and tiffin packets were distributed to parents, teachers and visitors.
On 13th August the Youth Convention at Jagadish Chandra High School, Ghatshila, started from 10.00 A.M and continued to 12 P.M. with 850 youths participating at Jagadish Chandra High Schools, College Road, Ghatsila. The programme was organized by Ramakrishna Math, Ghatsila Ashrama at Asha Auditorium, Jagadish Chandra High School premises.
Swami Natarajananda, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Ghatsila as President of the Function, Smt. Rita Mandal, Head Mistress of J.C. High School as special Guest and Respected Kumar S Abhinav, B.D.O., Ghatsila as Chief Guest were chaired at the function. And other dignitaries Mr. Baksi, Secretary of J. C. High school, Sri Jayanta Shit, member of the school managing committee were at the dais.
The program started with offering flowers at the feet of Swami Vivekananda’s portrait by the B.D.O., Swami Natarajananda, Smt. Rita Mandal and other dignitaries. Followed by Vedic chanting and Opening Song by the Students. The guests were then welcomed by The Headmistress and Flower bouquets presented to all respected persons at the dais by the Students.
The participating students started their performance which included inspiring speech, singing of patriotic songs. The “Swadesh Mantra” of Swami Vivekananda was chanted by all the students. Swami Natarajananda, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Ghatsila, Smt. Rita Mandal, Head Mistress, Respected B. D. O. were delivered their speech before the students with motivational and inspiring talk. All the Respected persons presented at the dais were honored by memento and Special Sweets packets.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem. At the end Special Tiffin Packet and a gift packet (Books on Swami Vivekananda and “Swadesh Mantrah”) distributed among all the participants. And snacks packets were distributed to the teachers, school staffs and audience present at the function.
