Ramakrishna Mission, Goa celebrated the 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses.
The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Govt of Goa took interest to celebrate 125th year of Chicago Speeches in association with Ramakrishna Mission, Goa. It was arranged at Menezes Hall in Panaji on 11 September 2018. The programme consisted of two parts- Interaction with students in the morning and Public Meeting for all in the evening.
Students Programme :
About 150 intermediate students along with a few teachers and the Department of Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs participated in the programme.

3. Recitation of Quotes of Swami Vivekananda
4. Speech by the Director Sports and Youth Affairs, Govt of Goa
5. Competition in Reciting Chicago Speech with dress code of Swami Vivekananda–14 students
6. Prize distribution for winners in recitation.
Public Meeting :
About 60 devotees and well wishers participated in the meeting.
The importance and significance of Swami Vivekananda ‘s visit was discussed. It was presided by Swami Kripaghanananda, Ramakrishna Math, Pune. Swami Hridananda and Prof. Anil Samant spoke on this occasion.
At 3.30 p.m, in the Ashrama, Conch was blown and Prayers offered to the Holy Trio.
