On October 9th, 2024, a fire caused by a short circuit devastated a house near Balijan Kachari Gao in Digboi. Following a survey on November 4th, 2024, to assess the damage, Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi, launched a relief initiative on November 7th.
This initiative provided essential items to the affected family to help them rebuild their lives and resume their small business operations.
