As part of the Holy Mother’s Birthday celebrations, Ramakrishna Mission, Siliguri, launched a new initiative to provide 22 poor widow mothers with monthly rations. Each ration bag includes 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of lentils, 1 kg of salt, 1 liter of mustard oil, 500 grams of jaggery, 250 grams of soybeans, and 50 grams each of turmeric powder, cumin powder, chili powder, and coriander powder. This support will be provided to these widows on a monthly basis.
On this occasion, winter blankets were also distributed to the beneficiaries. The program was inaugurated by Sri Goutam Deb, Mayor of Siliguri.
