Flood Relief: Imphal, June 2025

On 4th June 2025, Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal successfully conducted a flood relief distribution, reaching out to 410 affected In response to the recent devastating floods in Manipur, Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal carried out an extensive flood relief initiative from 4th to 6th June 2025, providing essential relief materials to 892 affected families, benefitting a total of 4,780 individuals.

The relief kits were distributed in phases:

  • On 4th June 2025, relief kits were distributed to 410 families (approx. 2,376 beneficiaries).
  • On 5th and 6th June 2025, an additional 482 families (approx. 2,861 beneficiaries) were covered.

Each relief kit contained the following essential items:

  • Rice – 10 kg
  • Pulses – 1 kg
  • Sugar – 1 kg
  • Mustard Oil – 1 kg
  • Soybean – 1 kg
  • Milk Powder – 200 gm
  • Tea Powder – 400 gm
  • Ngari (fermented fish) – 200 gm

This relief effort was a timely and compassionate step by Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal to alleviate the suffering of flood-hit families, ensuring immediate food security and basic sustenance during a time of distress.
