A total of sixteen trainees from the Vocational Training Centre (Tailoring) of Ramakrishna Math, Puri, were awarded certificates of aptitude and sewing machines on 2nd June 2025, following the successful completion of their Primary Tailoring Course (June 2024 – May 2025). The training had equipped the participants with essential tailoring skills, particularly in designing and stitching ladies’ garments.
The ceremony was organised in the Community Hall of the Math, where Dr. Sarat Chandra Mohapatra, Additional District Magistrate, Puri, was invited as the Chief Guest. The certificates and sewing machines were formally distributed by him, and the efforts of the Math in promoting women’s skill development and self-reliance were warmly appreciated.
