The 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses was commemorated in Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Sargachi with due solemnity on 13 September 2018.
About 1200 students , teachers of Sargachi Ramakrishna Mission High School participated in the Vivekananda Prekshagriha. The president of the function was Swami Vishwamayananda, Secretary of the Ashrama and Swami Tatwasarananda, Principal, Ramakrishna Mission Sikshan Mandira, Belur Math, was present as the chief speaker.
Devotional songs, recitations, Shiva Nritya and some spectacular presentations on Swami Vivekananda’s life and works were the other attractions of the function.The Vedic prayers chanted by the students and Swami Taponishthananda created a holy ambiance in the hall.
Prizes for various competitions centering the main theme of the programme were distributed among the winning participants.
