Ramakrishna Math (Yogodyan), Kankurgachhi conducted Fire Relief work.
On 23 December 2018, 17 houses were totally burnt by 9 gas cylinder blast at 8.30 am at Dattabad Slums (Ward No. 38). When this news was published in the newspaper, immediately the volunteers with a monk of Kankurgacchi Ashrama visited and surveyed the spot. The effected people needed utensils. The Ashrama distributed 17 set utensils per family. One set contains Kadai, Handi, Khunti, Hata, Bucket, Mug, Jug. Apart from this, every family member were also given steel glass, steel bowl and steel big plate. Total family member are 52 (Fifty-two).
