Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Manasadwip celebrated the National Youth Day on 12 Jan 2020 at the premises of Gangasagar Sub-Centre. Total 925 No. of youth were present and participated in the programme consisting of Recitation, Reading from Swamiji’s Message, speeches, songs etc. Swami Nareswarananda presided over the function, Br. Siddhachaitanya delivered the keynote address. Total 18 Secondary Schools, 8 Nos. Higher Secondary Schools, one College (Sagar Mahavidyalaya) and other local Youth Organizations of Sagar Island participated in the programme.
The South 24 Parganas District Administration arranged for the Buses to bring the participants. The Programme started at 9.00 a.m. and ended at 11.00 am. After the programme at 11.30 am a colourful Procession with Tableau went round the entire Mela ground.
