COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Services by Ramakrishna Mission, Jamshedpur


Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Society, Jamshedpur, is continuing the COVID-19 relief services.

On 20 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to 147 families in Birsanagar Zone 1B, 4, 6 and 8.

On 19 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to 101 families of Birsanagar, Raghubar Park, Zone 1B, Jamshedpur.

On 18 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to 100 families of Birsanagar Zone 6, Jamshedpur, and 30 families of Birsanagar Daspara Harimandir, Jamshedpur.

On 12 and 14 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to 50 families in Sundernagar, Parsudih, Sidhgora, Chenab Road, Birsanagar, Bistupur and Sakschi.

Each ration kit contains rice 5 kg, Dal 1 kg, potatoes 2 kg, salt, soap and washing powder packets.


Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Society, Jamshedpur, has started COVID- 19 pandemic relief services at Sitaramdera, Jamshedpur, after obtaining requisite permissions from the district administration.

On 31 March 2020 the ashrama distributed 100 packets of dry food items among the 100 needy families, each packet containing 5 kg of Rice, 2 kg of Potato, 1 kg of Pulse, 500 gms of salt, a bathing soap and a packet of soap powder.
